Marilyn Wensel Marilyn Wensel, age 67, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at her residence. Marilyn was born the daughter of William and Celia (Reeves) Powers on August 29, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She attended Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gary Wensel on October 9, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Marilyn worked as a shipping and relieving supervisor for Midwest Glove Factory for over twenty years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include one son Rusty Wensel and wife Donna of Winchester, Virginia; four grandchildren, Patrick Wensel Hilton Head, South Carolina, Andrew Silva of Leesburg, Virginia, Sierra Carter of Winchester, Virginia, and Bryce Carter of Purcellville, Virginia; one great-grandchild Kylie Silva of Leesburg, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Pitts, Edna Faubion; four brothers, Alvin, John, Robert, and Mervin Gabby Powers. A memorial service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, January 10, 2015, one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January, 9, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest O Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
