Marilyn Regan Marilyn Regan, age 75, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Marilyn was born the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Snelling) Stephens on December 15, 1938, in rural Chula, Missouri. She was a 1956 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Clarence "Red" Regan on August 30, 1958 at the St. Joseph's Parsonage Rectory in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1997. Marilyn retired in 1999 after 25 years as the cook at Livingston Co. R3 School, Chula, Missouri. She was an officer/member of the Busy Homemakers Extension Club and also served on the Chula Fair Board. She is survived by three sons, Don Regan of Chillicothe, Missouri, J.C. Regan and wife Jenny of Chula, Missouri, and Steve Regan and wife Larissa of Chula, Missouri; three grandchildren, Matt Regan of Chula, Missouri, and Shelby and Stephanie Regan of Chula, Missouri; one great-grandchild, Morgan Regan of Chula, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence Regan; grandson Clay Regan; sister, Alma (Stephens) Ferguson; two brothers, Buck and Larry Stephens; niece Michelle Regan and nephew Randy Baker. Funeral service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
