Marilyn Sue Brown

Marilyn "Sue" Brown, age 71, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was born December 24, 1939, in Tina, Missouri, the daughter of Darroll "Joker" Lee and Helen Bernice (Lowrey) Whitton. She married Harry Elwood Brown and to this union 2 children were born. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, where she was a greeter and served meals on wheels. She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She worked for Chillicothe State Bank for 25 years and was a Vice President. She is survived by her special friend Bob Gipe, Chillicothe, Missouri; one son, Kevin Brown and wife Jeanie of Tina, Missouri; one daughter, Marla Harrington and husband Mike of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren, Heather Brown of Chillicothe, Missouri, Derek Brown of Tina, Missouri, Lance Corporal Michael Brown who is serving in the U.S. Marine Corp and is currently deployed to Afghanistan, Kaley Hayward and Mason Hayward of Chillicothe, Missouri; two step granddaughters, Heather Baker of Trenton, Missouri, and Marci Harrington of Cameron, Missouri; one great grandchild Kaydence Kelley of Chillicothe, Missouri; three step great grandchildren, Mckenna Cox, Maxx Baker, and Mylee Baker of Trenton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents.
