Mariann Antonette Anderson Mariann Antonette Anderson, age 83, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at North Kansas City Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Mariann was born the daughter of Anthony and Catherine (Saale) Venneman on November 26, 1929, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1947 graduate of St. Josephs Academy, St. Joseph, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Richard T. Anderson on November 28, 1967, at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2000. Mariann worked as a Doctors Assistant for Dr. Perkins for 24 years. She was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society. Mariann enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include two brothers Charles Venneman and wife Frances of Overland Park, Kansas, and Victor Venneman of Blue Springs, Missouri; nephew and niece John Manning and wife Marilyn of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard T. Anderson; four brothers Anthony, Ralph, Clarence, and Francis "Frank" Venneman; and two sisters Helen Manning and Lucille Morgan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Columban's Roof Fund and/or St. Ann's Altar Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
