Margie Ann Marriott
Margie Ann Marriott, age 76, of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, after a short battle against lung cancer.
Margie was born on December 5, 1942, East of Chillicothe, Missouri, the third child of Marvin and Anna (Koehly) Hall. While her early childhood was spent growing up in Albia, Iowa, the family returned home and she graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1960. While in High School, she enjoyed being a Chillette, dancing and learning. On July 1, 1961, she married Charles Marriott at Chula Baptist Church in Chula, Missouri. Later, they began attending the Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. Margie worked at Wal-Mart and retired after 25 years of service. After retirement, she filled her time attending several events for her grandchildren. She worked part-time for the Chillicothe R-II School District in the kitchen, so she could be around the grandkids. Margie enjoyed attending church at the Calvary Baptist Church, spending time with family and her little dog Annie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marriott, and her parents. She leaves behind her loving family; three children, Wayne and Pam Marriott of Chula, Missouri, Matthew Marriott of Clinton, Missouri, and Charlene and Vern Constant of Chula, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) Marriott of Chillicothe, Missouri, Brett (Danelle) Marriott of Columbia, Missouri, Monica Marriott of Clinton, Missouri, Derek Marriott of San Angelo, Texas, Kristen Marriott of Clinton, Missouri, Rachel (Matt) Kline of Breckenridge, Missouri, Charles (Melissa) Constant of Chula, Missouri, and Shelby (Benjamin) Davis of Chillicothe, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Vivica, Ayden, Brax, Alanna, Baylor, Elijah, and she was looking forward to meeting her seventh great-grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Yardley and husband Ronald of Meadville, Missouri; and two brothers, Jim Hall and wife Wilma of Chula, Missouri, and Larry Hall of Sandy of Rockaway Beach, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
