Margaret Evelyn Knouse Margaret Evelyn Knouse, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Margaret was born the daughter of Hobart Henry and Zelma Fay (Broyles) Hudson on December 9, 1925, in Carroll County, Missouri. She was a 1944 graduate of Dawn High School. She was united in marriage to Richard Isaac Knouse on February 26, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2011. Margaret worked as a cook for Field School in Chillicothe, Missouri, for over 20 years. She was a member of the Chillicothe Garden Club. Survivors include two sons, Richard Lynn Knouse and wife Laieloni of Chillicothe, Missouri, and John Steven Knouse and wife Tonia of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Pope of Chillicothe, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Marie Schuster of Independence, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; one son-in-law, Peter Pope; one grandson, Kevin Pope; one great granddaughter, Christina Sanders; and one brother, Irvin Lyle Hudson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
