Marcheta Zullig

Marcheta Zullig, age 71, a resident of Independence, Missouri, went to meet the Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Her suffering was mild and she passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus. She was born the daughter of Samuel and Violet (Aulabaugh) Keasler, on September 17, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a 1955 graduate of Alton Illinois High School. On April 14, 1972, she married Raymond Zullig, in Alton, Illinois. He survives of the home. In her younger years she was the president of the youth group at Alton Illinois United Methodist Church and later remained a member. In 1972, she moved from Alton, Illinois to Independence, Missouri. She was an accountant at Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoyed crafts and music. She is also survived by a son Danny Zullig of Dawn, Missouri; one brother Tim Keasler of Searcy, Arkansas; and six grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son John Ellis; two sisters Terry Lynn Keasler and Karan G. Keasler; and one brother David Keasler. Services will be at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery in Dawn, Missouri.
