Mae Louise "Maisie" Ellison Maisie Ellison, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Maisie was born the daughter of Samuel and Martha (Vandruff) Foust on October 14, 1927, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She graduated in 1945 from Oklahoma City High School, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to James Harold Ellison in 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1991. For the past nine years Maisie made Indian Hills Retirement Village her home. While living there she had developed many close relationships with the staff. Survivors include two daughters, Margie Albertson and husband Denny of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Judee Carr of Lawson, Missouri; four sons, Thomas Ellison of Gladstone, Missouri, Christopher Ellison of Gladstone, Missouri, Michael Ellison of Bonner Springs, Kansas, and Pat Ellison and wife Cathy of Republic, Missouri; one son-in-law, Steve Gastineau of Celina, Texas; seventeen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one daughter, Jean Gastineau; one son James Ellison Jr.; one brother John Foust; and one granddaughter, Laura Carr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A parish rosary will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
