M. Lucille O'Dell

M. Lucille O'Dell, age 84, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri, on Sunday, May 9, 2010. She was born on August 1, 1925, the daughter of Maben M. and Marcie G. (Robertson) Trussell in Coloma, Missouri. She was a 1943 graduate of Carrollton High School, Carrollton, Missouri. On May 15, 1946, she married Kenneth O'Dell in Kansas City, Kansas. He survives of the home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hale, Missouri, Hale VFW 3464, Ladies Auxillary, and the Hale PTA. She was active in the Hale School and in her church. he is also survived by her son, Gary O'Dell and daughter-in-law Mary of Hale, Missouri; one brother Rev. Bruce Trussell and sister-in-law Evelyn of Tina, Missouri; five grandchildren, David Figg and wife Renee of Brunswick, Missouri, Dustin Figg of Hale, Missouri, Carrie Hartwig and husband Robert of Misawa AFB Japan, Connie Rardon and husband Derek of Hale, Missouri and Carisa O'Dell of Hale, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Landon and Ashtyn Figg of Brunswick and Jordin and Carsyn Hartwig of Misawa AFB of Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda Figg and her brother Leland Trussell. Services will be at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri.
