Lynn Crawford Lyon Lynn Crawford Lyon, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at St. Luke's Northland, Kansas City, Missouri. Lynn was born the son of John Lewis and Ellen Elizabeth (Crawford) Lyon on August 13, 1935, in Denton, Nebraska. He was 1953 graduate of East High School, Wichita, Kansas. After graduation, he attended Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas. He served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956 during the Korean War. Lynn was united in marriage to Wanda Cameron on September 7, 1958, in Arkansas City, Arkansas. She survives of the home. He worked as a conductor for BNSF Railway for 38 years. Lynn was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the American Legion, and the St. Joseph Scottish Rites. He was also a member of the Chillicothe Masonic Friendship Lodge #89, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2516 of Newton, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Wanda of the home; one son, Wesley Wayne Lyon and wife Lori of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Penny Lynn Fisk of Merriam, Kansas; three grandchildren, Marcus A. Fisk, Taylor M. Lyon, and Katlyn M. Lyon; one sister, Sharon Roberta Lyon Woods of Waverly, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nadyne Rose Lyon Wadby Esparza; and one brother, Harry Christopher Lyon. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston County Relay For Life and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
