Lula Mae Lamp
Lula Mae Lamp, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.
Lula was born the daughter of James Newton and Rosa Rebecca (Harris) Pittman on February 28, 1934, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She retired as a house keeper from the Senior Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a member of the Harvest Time Ministries. Lula played piano at many of the local churches.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Ann Hopper and husband, Tim of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Periman; two grandsons, Troy Jefferson Hays, Sr., and Adam Hays; three brothers, Jimmy, Marion, and Delbert Pittman; one sister, Marie Harkins; and seven half-brothers, Floyd, Ralph, Alfred, Ray, Edgar, Elmer and Garland Pittman.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
