Lorretta "Jane" Murdock, age 82, a resident of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, at her residence.
Jane was born the daughter of James Allen and Sallie Ziona (Still) Leakey on February 25, 1937, in Norborne, Missouri. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include companion of 23 years, Bob Meyer of Camdenton, Missouri; one son, John "Rusty" Murdock (Sheryl) of Camdenton, Missouri; one daughter, Cathy Selvy (Jim) of Eldridge, Missouri; five grandchildren, Sammi (Selvy) Meyer (Ron), Wes Selvy, Amanda (Murdock) Anderson (Phillip), Josh Murdock (Whitney), and Justin Murdock; and seven great grandchildren, Isaac Gordon, Daisy Selvy, Kylie Meyer, James Jr. Selvy, Jade Selvy, Maddie Anderson, and Kalie Murdock. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Lester Reed; grandchild, Dustin Selvy; great grandchild, Haylee Meyer; four brothers, Charles Raymond, Roy, Dorris, and Eldred; and one sister, Anna Lee.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jane Murdock Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
