Loretta Ann McClure, age 64, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at St. Luke's North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Loretta was born the daughter of Ed and Loretta (Schmid) McClure on July 28, 1956, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1976 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Loretta worked in the activity center and Hope Haven in Chillicothe, Missouri, for 35 years. She was a member of the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and enjoyed watching KU Jayhawks Basketball. Loretta loved attending Camp Rainbow, and participating in the Special Olympics.
Survivors include four brothers, Edward J. McClure and wife Lyndsay of Crossville, Tennessee, Patrick McClure of Chillicothe, Missouri, John S. McClure, and Michael McClure of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters, Cathy Muehlberger and husband Jerry of San Antonio, Texas, and Peggy McClure of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time due to COVID.
