Loretta Konopasek

Loretta Konopasek, age 43, a resident of Utica, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Loretta was born the daughter of Omer Lee and Shirley Mae (Searcy) Eller on December 25, 1967 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1986 Chillicothe High School graduate. Loretta attended North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri and graduated with an Applied Science Degree in Practical Nursing in 1994. She worked as a certified nurse's aide for two years. Loretta married Gerald "Wayne" Konopasek on November 26, 1988. She also studied cosmetology at the Chillicothe Beauty Academy and worked as a hair stylist at A Cut Above for one year. She is a member of the Utica Community Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Aaron Wayne Konopasek and wife Jessica of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Logan Tyler and Jordan Franklin Konopasek of the home; two grandchildren, Dacey Lynn and Ace Aaron Konopasek; one sister Pamela Neis of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Bryan and Jamie Eller both of Chillicothe, Missouri; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Joann Konopasek; brother-in-law, Jerry; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Sandy; sister-in-law, Barbara Wallace; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Omer Lee Eller Jr., and a nephew, Adam Eller. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In-state will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Utica Cemetery, Utica, Missouri.
