Loren Wayne Sutton, age 80, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at St. Luke's Northland Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Wayne was born the son of Homer and Eva (Kelley) Sutton on June 8, 1939, in Weatherby, Missouri. He was a 1957 graduate of Jamesport Tri-County High School. He served in the United States Army for four years and the United States Air Force for 16 years, retiring in 1978. He was united in marriage to Arlene Acton on December 4, 1992, in Hale, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for the Chillicothe Police Department and the Livingston County Sherriff's Office from 1978 until 1984. He was a Communications Specialist for the Army Corps of Engineers from 1984 until 2001.
Survivors include his wife Arlene Sutton of the home, son Troy Sutton of Texas; daughter, Kim Acton of Hale, MO; one grandson, Kevin Sutton of Virginia; one brother, William "Bill" Sutton and wife Dorothy of Chillicothe, MO; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Sutton of Chillicothe, MO; two sister-in-law, Cheire Clark and husband Earl of Bosworth, MO; sister-in-law, Verna Wright and husband David of Bosworth, MO; father-in-law, Vernon Acton of Carrolton, MO; four nephews, Spencer, Benjamin and wife Shelby, Waylon and Richard; two nieces, Samantha and husband James Staton and Peyton; and five great nephews and two great nieces. Wayne was predeceased by his parents; brother, David Sutton; granddaughter, Annah Collier; step son Bryon Acton; and nephew Tylor Clark.

Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 23, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
