Loren "Dale" Mattox

Loren "Dale" Mattox Loren "Dale" Mattox, age 91, a resident of Tina, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Dale was born the son of Arthur and Bertha (Smith) Mattox on May 10, 1924, in Coloma, Missouri. He served in the United States Army. Dale was united in marriage to Patsy Simpson on May 22, 1949, in Tina, Missouri. She preceded him in death January 23, 2011. He retired from Donaldson Company in Chillicothe, Missouri, after many years of employment. He was a member of the Coloma Baptist Church, Bogard, Missouri. He was also a member of the Hale VFW Post #3464 and the UAW Local 710. Dale was a mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening. Survivors include one son, Roger Mattox and wife Barbara of Tina, Missouri; five grandchildren, Alecia Spainhour and husband Jason of Kansas City, Missouri, Darin Mattox and friend Doross Judd of Tina, Missouri, Janet Buck of Springfield, Missouri, Timothy Mattox of Tina, Missouri, and Toni Mattox of Kansas City, Missouri; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy; and one son, Scott Mattox. Funeral services will be held at the Coloma Baptist Church, Bogard, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Coloma Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri.
