Lonnie Gene Wilson, age 75, a resident of Cowgill, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012, at his residence. Lonnie was born in Strafford, Missouri, on September 6, 1936, the son of William F. and Edna P. (Endley) Wilson. On March 1, 1957, he was united in marriage to Irene Hudson in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives of the home. Lonnie worked as a line operator for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 36 years, retiring in 1995. Survivors include his wife, Irene, of the home; son, Tim Wilson of Cowgill, Missouri; three daughters, Debbie Pope of Hardin, Missouri, Carla Murray of Braymer, Missouri, and Tina Bennett of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Rod Wilson of Polo, Missouri, and Rex Wilson of Grandview, Missouri; sister, Joan Coltrane of Grove Springs, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bernie Wilson, Richard Wilson, Bob Wilson and William F. Wilson, Jr.; two sisters, Aleta Clymer and Cleta Bosley; and two sons, Russell Loyd Wilson and Danny Ray Wilson. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, June 25, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where the family will be present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri.
