Lois Marie (Timbrook) Epperson

Lois Marie (Timbrook) Epperson Lois Marie (Timbrook) Epperson, age 83, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at her home. Lois was born the daughter of Lester and Leah (Barron) Timbrook on August 8, 1933, in Dawn, Missouri. She attended school at Dawn, Missouri, for 7 years, and Chillicothe R-2 School for 5 years where she graduated. She was united in marriage to Wesley Allen Epperson on June 30, 1951, at the Macon Baptist Church, Macon, Missouri. He survives of the home. Lois worked as a Teachers Aid at Chillicothe R-II Schools for 11 years. She also worked as a receptionist for Dr. Youssef of Chillicothe for many years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, since 1965. Lois was also a member of the Rachel Circle Women's Group at Pleasant Grove, a member of the Bizzy Belles Extension Group for 30 years, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Concerned Christians of Livingston County, and a Cub Scout Leader. She volunteered at the Grand River Multi-Purpose Center, R.S.V.P. and Meals on Wheels. Lois enjoyed many types of crafts: sewing, quilting, and crocheting. Survivors include husband Wesley of the home; two sons, Michael Duane Epperson and wife Connie, and Kevin Lee Epperson; one daughter, Kerry Ann Schneider and husband John all of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Stephen Epperson and wife Brooke, Shawn Epperson and wife Shelly, Jeremy Epperson and wife Monica, Melissa Williams and husband Clint, Jonathan Schneider and wife Krista, Jordan Schneider and Ashley Hall, and Lauren Moore; and eleven great grandchildren, Chloe Epperson, Marley Symmonds, Lainie, MaKinlie, and Wesley Epperson, Tayler and Spencer Epperson, Mason Williams, Rita Schneider, Addison Schneider, and Wyatt Elsloo. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
