Lois Elaine Fox Lois Elaine Fox, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Promise Skilled Nursing Facility, Overland Park, Kansas. Lois was born the daughter of Noble William and Dorothy Mazona (Minor) Turner on May 31, 1940, in Linneus, Missouri. She was a 1958 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She then attended Missouri Western State University graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. She worked as a Teachers Aid at Verelle Peniston State School, Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She served as the Special Needs Coordinator for Missouri Western State College until her retirement in 2003. She also served as a volunteer at Camp Rainbow. Lois was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include one son, Michael Fox of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Marcy Fox of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Allison N. Fox of Dallas, Texas, Matthew R. Fox of Dallas, Texas, and Austin M. Fox of Olathe, Kansas; one brother, Larry Turner of Jefferson City, Missouri; and one sister, Nelda Schneider of Ashland, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 2, 2016, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
