Lloyd Lavern Bowe Lloyd Lavern Bowe, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Missouri State Veterans Home, Cameron, Missouri. Lloyd was born the son of Edward and Sylvia (Spainhour) Bowe on October 7, 1931, in Chula, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956 during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Barbara J. Harris on April 16, 2005, in Laredo, Missouri. She survives of the home. Lloyd worked for Rudy Sayers and Klein Construction as a dozer operator for 30 years. He also farmed for many years. He was a member of the Anastasia Baptist Church, St. Augustine, Florida. Lloyd attended the Laredo Christian Church, Laredo, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, bowling, and cracking pecans. Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; one son, Lester Bowe and wife Debra of St. Augustine, Florida; two daughters, Lorrinda Seiberling and husband Rusty of Middleburg, Florida, and Melanie Bryant of Linneus, Missouri; four step children, Neal Lovell and wife Margaret of Jamesport, Missouri, Dale Lovell of Trenton, Missouri, Stanley Lovell of Laredo, Missouri, and Brenda Dye and husband Jim of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Russell W. Bowe and wife Sandy of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Michele Waldron; one sister, Eileen Ishmael; one grandson, Nathan Bowe; and one son-in-law, Mike Bryant. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
