Lillian Lorene Grossman Lillian Lorene Grossman, age 100, a resident of Carrollton, Missouri, formerly of Chillicothe and Tina, passed away on Tuesday, September 02, 2014, at the Carroll House, Carrollton, Missouri. Lillian was born the daughter of George and Pearl (Daily) Davis on June 29, 1914, in Bogard, Missouri. She was a 1932 graduate of Bosworth High School, Bosworth, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Raymond Grossman on January 2, 1939, in Liberty, Missouri. They made their home on a farm in Tina, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1966. After his passing Lillian then made her home in Chillicothe. She worked at Lambert Glove Factory and Stampers for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, United Methodist Church Circle, and Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary. Survivors include one son, Junior Grossman and wife Christine of Bogard, Missouri; two grandchildren, Curt Grossman and wife Lori of Tina, Missouri, and Cara Barnes and husband Joe of Smithville, Missouri; five great-grandchildren Zach and Trent Grossman of Tina, Missouri, and Olivia, Sophia, and McKayla Barnes of Smithville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond Grossman: two brothers George "Jupe" Davis and Alvin Davis; and sister, Doris Krionderis. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 5, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. There will be a family visitation held on Friday, September 5, 2014, one hour prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 4, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Coloma Cemetery, Tina, Missouri.
