Letha Waters, age 102, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, a former resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at her residence.
Letha was born the daughter of Reuben and Mabel (White) Sprouse on February 7, 1917, in Caldwell County, Missouri. She was a 1935 graduate of Braymer High School. Letha was united in marriage to Harold Waters on June 4, 1939, in Braymer, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1998.
Survivors include one niece, Beverly Lindquist of Richmond, Texas; four nephews, Richard Widmier, Weldon Sprouse of Braymer, Missouri, Harland Sprouse of Brookfield, Missouri, and Loren Sprouse of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; one brother, Seth Sprouse; and one sister, Mildred Widmier.
A private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, August 5, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, August 4, 2019, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
