Letha Maxine Brown Letha Maxine Brown, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Letha was born the daughter of Frank M. and Nina L. (Wolfe) Lightle on August 6, 1922, in Hale, Missouri. She was a 1940 graduate of Tina High School. She was united in marriage to Edward L. (Buster) Brown on July 10, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1994. Letha was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She served as a R.S.V.P. volunteer at the Grand River Multi-Purpose Center and the Grand River Historical Society Museum in Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, camping, traveling, cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family. Survivors include one daughter, Roxanna McCracken and husband Randy of Dawn, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Jenny Brown of Liberty, Missouri, Becky Lucas and husband Dave of Lathrop, Missouri, Tracy Bolduc and husband Dan of Vacaville, California, Jodi Hall of Liberty, Missouri, Tara Kreiling and husband Aaron of Oak Grove, Missouri, Grant Brown of Los Angeles, California, Seth Brown of Santa Margarita, California, and Tori McCracken of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven great grandchildren, Taylor Lucas, Zach Lucas, Brady Bolduc, Carly Bolduc, Tegan Brown, Garrett Kreiling, and Carter Hall; and one daughter-in-law, Denise Dudley of Santa Margarita, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; one son, Jerry E. Brown; one infant child, Lowell Brown; three brothers, Hubert, Harley, and Gale Lightle; and two sisters, Florene Walker and Helen Moser. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Rock Branch Cemetery, Tina, Missouri.
