Leroy Michael Breeden Leroy Michael Breeden, age 75, a resident of Independence, Missouri, passed away at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Leroy was born on October 27, 1938, the son of Harold Gotch and Dorothy Gertrude (Venneman) Breeden in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1956 graduate of the St. Joseph Academy, Chillicothe, Missouri. On January 19, 1957, he married Dixie Gillilan at St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked at Ross Miller Cleaners for 20 years. He was a member of the St. Marks Catholic Church, Independence, Missouri. After retirement he enjoyed going to the YMCA, participating in water aerobics and working out. Survivors include his wife, Dixie Breeden of the home; five children, Teresa Breeden of Blue Springs, Missouri, Pamela Carr and husband Paul of Blue Springs, Missouri, Laura Ritchel and husband Rolly of Independence, Missouri, Leslie Manns and husband Brian of Grain Valley, Missouri, Leroy Michael Breeden, Jr. of Peculiar, Missouri; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one brother, Gerald Breeden and wife Lillian of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Harold Breeden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. with a family visitation to follow until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
