Leland Grozinger

Leland Grozinger, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his residence. Leland was born the son of George Edward and Bessie Bell (Marriott) Grozinger on November 7, 1927, in Dawn, Missouri. Leland served in the United States Army during World War II. Leland Married Mary Helen Key on August 1, 1952 in Carrollton, Missouri. He farmed the family farm in Dawn, Missouri and worked at the Donaldson's Company in Chillicothe, Missouri for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Grozinger of Chillicothe, Missouri; one son, Jim Grozinger and wife Paula of Wheeling, Missouri; two grandchildren Kimberly Marshall and husband Jeff Marshall of Chillicothe, Missouri and Brett Grozinger of Wheeling, Missouri; two great grandchildren Adler and Abby Marshall of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond Grozinger and Lawrence Grozinger; two sisters Gladys Thomas and Neva Thompson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Friday May 24, 2013 from noon until service time . Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Blue Mound Cemetery.
