Lee Allen Rogers, age 62 a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at his residence.
Lee was born on November 29, 1956 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Jay and Evelyn Josephine (Musick) Rogers. He was a 1975 graduate of Camdenton High School, Camdenton, Missouri. Lee then attended Indian Hills Community College and earned an Associate's Degree in Tool and Dye. Lee enjoyed coaching his daughter's softball team, ICMA racing, and building racing engine for which he earned several awards.
Survivors include: one son David Durbin and wife Charity of Unionville, Missouri; two daughters; Jennifer Belvel and husband Harry of Trenton, Missouri and Angela Thumma and husband Scott of Portland, Oregon, one brother, David Rogers and wife Lorey of Camdenton, Missouri, two sisters; Jayne Musser and husband Jimmy of Murray, Kentucky and Jeanne Renfro and husband Stephen of Sumter, South Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and best friend and partner, Jayne Dennis - Simpson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Josh and Angel Dennis and their children of Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. A family visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri on Monday, April 22, 2019 from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bright Futures Trenton and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home P.O. Box 47 Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be left at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com .
