Lawrence Hicks Lawrence Hicks, age 74, a resident of Linneus, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Life Care Center, Brookfield, Missouri. Lawrence was born the son of Raymond and Hazel (Harvey) Hicks on July 4, 1939, in Linneus, Missouri. He worked for Howard Construction for many years. Lawrence loved coon hunting. Survivors include two sons, Billy Fred Hicks and Wilbur Hicks both of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter Reeca Underwood and husband Darrell of Richmond, Missouri; three grandchildren; one brother Lester Hicks and wife Doris of Chillicothe, Missouri; niece Cheryl Dennis and husband Ronnie; nephew John Hicks and wife Darcy; and one sister-in-law Jackie Hicks of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, John Hicks Sr. and Wayne Hicks. Graveside services will be held at the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri, on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
