Lavere "L.W." Wendell Feese, age 88, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his home in Braymer, Missouri. Lavere was the third of seven children born to Hobert and Lina (Johnson) Feese. He attended Rose Valley School. He married Nelda (Oster) Feese, September 18, 1949. They made their home in Caldwell County all their lives. In addition to a lifetime in farming, he had worked at rock quarries, manufacturing, construction, butchering, tree service, or anything the community needed help with. Survivors include his wife Nelda of the home; three sons, Jim Feese of the home, John Feese of Hamilton, Missouri, Dale Feese and wife Gracie, of Cameron, Missouri; daughter Dorothy Ascher, and husband Stan, of Alta Vista, Kansas; four grandchildren, James Dee, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Michelle Dee, of Eugene, Oregon, Farid Suka, of Lakewood, Colorado, and April Ascher of Alta Vista, Kansas; sister, Dora Michaels of Northwood, Ohio; brother Troy Feese, of Cheney, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lois Dee; three brothers, Leland, Berkley, and Frank, and sister Wanetta Lundgren. Funeral services will be held at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, May, 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, May 21, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call the funeral home on Monday after 9 a.m. Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
