Lavaun Marie Ware Lavaun Marie Ware, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Lavaun was born the daughter of Hueitte and Anna (Herberger) Whitworth on March 27, 1931, in Carroll County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Ware on May 1, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri. He survives of the home. She worked as a Bookkeeper for L&O Sales for many years. Lavaun was an avid bowler. She loved reading and flowers. Survivors include husband, Kenneth of the home; one son, Steve Duncan and wife Mary of Pittsburg, Kansas; one daughter, Janet Churchill and husband Cliff of Lawrence, Kansas; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Whitworth and wife Karen of Kearney, Missouri; and two sisters, Joyce Surber and husband Ronald of Meadville, Missouri, and Virginia McCollum of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lily Whitworth; and one grandson, Charles Lee Anderson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, February 16, 2014, 3:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
