Laurie Ann (Hutcherson) Thomas

Laurie Ann Thomas Laurie Ann (Hutcherson) Thomas, age 50, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at her residence. Laurie was born the daughter of Floyd and Ruth Ann (Hughes) Hutcherson on June 17, 1966, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1984 graduate of Chillicothe High School, where she was involved in the Pom Poms and was a cheerleader. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed cake decorating and was an artist. She spent every game day watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs. Laurie was very active in the Relay for Life. Survivors include her mother, Ruth Ann Hutcherson of Chillicothe, Missouri; husband, Joe Thomas of Chillicothe, Missouri, two sons, Brad Mathews of Osborn, Missouri, and Chad Mathews of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Amanda Jennings of Trenton, Missouri, and Kaylee Mathews of Chillicothe, Missouri; her granddaughter, Ava Ann Jennings of Trenton, Missouri; and her nephew, Dylan Waterman of West Valley City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Lisa Lynn Waterman; and grandparents, Charles and Annie Hughes and William T. and Fontella Hutcherson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
