Larry David Wilson, age 66, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at St. Luke's North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Larry was born the son of Bobby and Ramah (Head) Wilson on January 27, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a 1970 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He then attended Grand River Technical School in Chillicothe, graduating in 1972. He was united in marriage to Linda Waters on May 25, 2002, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Larry was a mechanic and worked for Chillicothe Truck Repair for 30 years. Larry was a member of the Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2428 Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; two sons, Robert Lee Wilson of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Eddie Coughran of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Brandy Lee Wilson of Chillicothe, Missouri; ten grandchildren; stepfather, Jay Stith; seven brothers, Thomas Stith and Paul Stith of Trenton, Missouri, Clyde Wilson of Loganville, Georgia, John Wilson of Decatur, Illinois, Richard Stith of Richmond, Missouri, and Jim Wilson and Leslie Stith of Chillicothe, Missouri; and one sister, Gayle (Kitty) Snider of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry "Lumpy" David Wilson, Jr.; and one sister, Bonnie Albrecht.
A celebration of life will be held at the Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2428 Lodge, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Hutchinson Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Larry David Wilson Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
