Larry Joe Scheib, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. He was born the son of Raymond and Norma (Kephart) Scheib on September 22, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Larry was a laborer for Hibner Saw Mill for 40 years. He married Kallie Sue Johnson on July 23, 1983 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He loved farming, gardening and mowing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is also survived by a son,
Bobby Scheib and fiancée, Riley Ward of Chillicothe, Missouri; a daughter, Stephanie Scheib of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tymber, Tatum and Tenley Scheib all of Chillicothe, Missouri; six brothers, Norman (Burly) Scheib of Trenton, Missouri, Martin Scheib and wife, Tammy of Trenton, Missouri , Ernie Scheib and wife, Becky of Trenton, Missouri, Wilbert Scheib and wife Karen, of Trenton, Missouri, Gary Scheib and wife, Sheila, of Rothville, Missouri, and Alva Scheib and wife, Donna, of Galt, Missouri: four sisters, Debbie Danner and husband, Gilbert, of Chillicothe, Missouri, Joyce Sheppard of Trenton, Gloria Miller and husband Wayne, of Trenton, Missouri and Paula Larson and husband, Terry, of Laredo, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Roger Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Collar Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri.
