Larry Dewayne Morris Larry Dewayne Morris, age 68, a resident of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, formerly of Trenton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at his residence. Larry was born the son of Robert and Ruth (Clingingsmith) Morris on February 23, 1947, in Livingston County, Missouri. He was a 1965 graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton, Missouri. After high school, he attended North Central Missouri College graduating in 1968. He then attended Northwest State University graduating in 1970 with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences. In 1972, he graduated from Northwest State University with a Master's of Science Degree. Lastly in 1983, he graduated from the University of Delaware with a PhD in Animal Science. He was united in marriage to Lucinda Moore on July 16, 1967, in Wheeling, Missouri. She survives of the home. Larry worked as a Professor of Animal Science at Delaware Valley College for 37 years. Survivors include wife, Lucinda of the home; two sisters, Barbara Stith and husband Larry of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Katheryn Pilcher of Trenton, Missouri; uncle, Richard Morris and wife Sally of Trenton, Missouri; mother-in-law, Jane Moore of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Baxter and husband Danny of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Sue Gates and husband Brad of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Vernon Pilcher. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Shelburne Cemetery, Hickory, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Central Missouri College Animal Science Program and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
