Larry Walter Coshow, age 77, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri.
Larry was born the son of Walter and Ada (Swaites) Coshow on March 6, 1945, in Kingston, Missouri. He was a 1963 graduate of Polo High School. After high school, he was employed by Hallmark Cards. On March 25, 1978, he married Maribelle "Arlene" Pierce. She survives of the home. Larry was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the Elks Lodge, the Masonic Lodge AF and AM #15 and was an active Shriner when he lived in Casper, Wyoming. He and his wife eventually opened an insurance business, The Coshow Agency, in 1978, in Casper, Wyoming.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; one daughter, Kimberly Sue Lowry of  Cameron, Missouri; two stepsons, Steven Wiedmier and wife, Sandy, of Braymer, Missouri, and David Wiedmier of Hamilton, Missouri; two step daughters, Susan Wiedmier Bridges and husband, Jim, of Kansas City, Missouri and Debbie Clevenger and husband, Joe, of Hamilton, Missouri;  a grandson, Tyler Grann of Casper, Wyoming,  several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren;  one brother, Lowell Coshow and wife, Patty, of  Nebraska;  three sisters, Ruby Allen of Oregon, Beulah Rice of Norborne, Missouri and Laurel "Shorty" Miller and husband, Donnie, of Kingston, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Robert Coshow, Norman Keeney, Bill Keeney and Lloyd Keeney.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, with a visitation follow until 4:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Shriners Club of Casper, Wyoming and/or the ASPCA and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
