Larry Ray Bloss, age 83, a resident of Jefferson City, Missouri, and former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Larry was born the son of Leonard and Mable (Skidmore) Bloss, on July 14, 1940, in Brookfield, Missouri. Larry was a 1958 graduate of Laclede High School, Laclede, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Juanita Wilson on June 17, 1973 in Chillicothe, Missouri, she survives of the home. He worked at United Parcel Service as a delivery driver for 30 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Missouri Trap Shooters Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita of the home; two daughters, Jami Taylor and husband, Jerry of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Erin Barton of Brookfield, Missouri; one son, Larry Ray Bloss, Jr.; one grandson, Zachary Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Sherri Bloss, one son-in-law, Billy Barton and one infant brother, Terry Bloss
A visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Trap Shooters Association Youth Program, Linn Creek, Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
