Lance Eric Douglas

Lance Eric Douglas, age 29, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 26, 2010, in the presence of his family. He was born the son of Cecil R. Douglas and Lana (O' Dell) Kilmer on February 24, 1981 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 2000. He served as a member of the Army National Guard for two years. Lance enjoyed drawing, hunting, playing pool, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with his boys. Lance is survived by his three sons Connor Hobbs, Kyan Hobbs, and Matthew Hobbs of Chillicothe; two sisters Lindsey Douglas, and Lacey Lake and brother-in-law Tony of Brookfield; One brother Zachary Douglas of Wheeling; his father Cecil R. Douglas and wife Carol of Wheeling; his mother Lana (O' Dell) Kilmer and husband Billy of Brookfield. He is also survived by his grandmother Barbara O'Dell, aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces, and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Leland O'Dell, and paternal grandparents Leo and Doris Douglas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1:00p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
