Lahoma Lee Crouse   Lahoma Lee Crouse, age 96, a lifelong resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Lahoma was born the daughter of Morgan and Inez (Coldiron) Hughes on January 18, 1920 in Livingston County, Missouri. On October 1, 1938 she was married to Leon Leroy "Bob" Crouse. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2001. She was employed for 25 years at Suncrest Nursing Home, formerly Susan Nursing Home. She was a medication technician, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include one son, Leon Crouse and wife, Jean of Berea, Ohio; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Leland Hughes and Grover Hughes; and two sisters, Euva Buntin and Darlene Buntin.  Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, September 5, 2016 from noon until 6 pm. Burial will be held at Monroe Cemetery, Ludow, Missouri.
