Kevin J. Trammell

Kevin J. Trammell, age 56, former resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at his residence in Galveston, Texas. Kevin was born on March 17, 1955, the son of Neil and Shirley (Bassett) Trammell in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1973 Breckenridge High School graduate and also attended North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri. He was a very good student as well as an athlete in football and basketball during his high school years in Breckenridge. He moved to Texas in 1983. On November 28, 1987, he was united in marriage to Michelle Cox in Galveston, Texas. She survives of the home. He owned and worked at the Trammell's General Store in Galveston, Texas for ten years and then worked as a deli manager for 7 Seas Grocery for the last ten years. Kevin was an avid hunter and fisher and loved his daughter very much. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Trammell, of the home; his daughter, Kaitlyn Gayle Trammell of Galveston, Texas; his father, Neil Trammell of Breckenridge, Missouri; and one brother, Tony Trammell and wife Kristine of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his mother. Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home in Breckenridge, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Saturday one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home in Breckenridge, Missouri. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
