Kenneth Leo Milligan

Kenneth L. Milligan, age 70, a resident of rural Carrollton, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was born the son of Leo Grant Milligan and Mary Katherine (Stratton) on July 11, 1940 in Ray County. On March 17, 1989, he married Loretta Pool in Macon, Missouri. She survives of the home. Mr. Milligan was a self-employed farmer. He also loved to pitch horse shoes. He is survived by four sons; Keith Milligan and friend Karen of Norborne, Missouri, and Kent Milligan of Norborne, Missouri, and step sons David Burns and wife Cheryl of Stet, Missouri and John Burns of Stet, Missouri; two daughters, Jennifer Carr and husband Jay of Tina, Missouri and Donna Sue Liles and husband Tom of Richmond, Missouri; six brothers, James and Calvin Milligan of Braymer, Missouri, Dean and Leon Milligan of Richmond, Missouri, and Allen and Wendell Milligan of Hardin, Missouri; one sister, Shirley Bisbee of Richmond, Missouri and 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard Milligan; one daughter, Kenna Milligan and one sister, Mildred Pollard. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Friday December 17, 2010 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Mercy Hospital and may be left at or mailed to the Pitts Funeral Home P.O. Box 47 Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Attendees of the service have been asked by the family to wear casual dress only. Online condolences may be left at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com . Arrangements are under the direction of Pitts Funeral Home Braymer, Missouri.
