Kelly Junior Hughes Kelly Junior Hughes, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Kelly was born the son of Kelly George and Stella Louise (Cutshall) Hughes on August 17, 1929, in Livingston County, Missouri. He attended Avalon High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Kelly was united in marriage to Bonnie Monetta Johnson on June 21, 1953, in Gallatin, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for Chillicothe Lumber Company for 40 years. He was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Kelly enjoyed hunting, dog training, playing cards, tinkering, and was a craftsman. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; one daughter, Brenda Lynn Wright and husband Lanny of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sarah M. Marshall, Emily J. Finley and husband Scott, and Megan A. Smith and husband Matt; seven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lucille Hughes of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gailen Hughes, four brothers, Clifford, Jack, Brice, and Opal Hughes; and four sisters, Mildred Douglas, Dorothy Mitchell, Eva Hughes, and Vera Depriest. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, July 28, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, July 28, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
