Keith Moorshead
Keith Moorshead, 89, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away November 27, 2021 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri.
Keith was born the son of Charles and Cleo Moorshead on October 18, 1932, in Breckenridge, MO. He was a 1950 graduate of Breckenridge High School and later attended the Chillicothe Business College.
On March 31, 1952, he was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Herrington, in New Franklin, Missouri. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2015.
Keith started his railroad career at CB&Q Railroad, and worked most of his life with the Burlington Northern. He loved entering sweepstakes where he eventually won two vehicles, a Jeep and a Ford F-150. He also enjoyed collecting all types of coins, umpiring baseball and softball, running the clock at high school sporting events, and coaching girls softball in summer leagues.  He was the Bucklin city clerk for several years and also served on the Bucklin R-II school board.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Moorshead and wife, Bernita of Gladstone, Missouri and Cris Moorshead and wife, Teresa of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Brenda Ann Mosley of Wood Heights, Missouri and Terry Benjamin of Kansas City, Missouri; four granddaughters, two great- grandsons, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sons- in-laws, Terry Mosley and Gerald Benjamin.
A memorial service will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson Research Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri.
