Katie Eveline Minnis Katie Eveline Minnis, age 74, a resident of Hale Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at her residence. Katie was born the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Wilson) Adams on August 11, 1938 in Breckenridge, Missouri. On November 22, 1997 Katie married Windell Dean Minnis in Hale, Missouri. Katie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an amazing woman who raised eleven children, several grandchildren, and even friends. Motherhood was her greatest accomplishment, and she loved every minute of it. One of her greatest joys was decorating for the holidays. Her absence leaves a great void in our hearts and lives, and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include six sons: Willard Cooper and wife Nancy of Bosworth, Missouri; Russell Wayne Minnis and wife Betsy of Higbee, Missouri; Jan Earp of Hale, Missouri; Orville Cooper of Avalon, Missouri; Herman Douglas Cooper and wife Pat of Sumner; Missouri, and Michael Cooper of Hale, Missouri; ten daughters Frances Ann Ireland and husband Sammie of Dawn, Missouri; Betty Delores Howe of Chillicothe, Missouri; Betty Jill Mireles and husband Roy of Fulton, Missouri; Jacquline Kay Sensenich of Carrollton, Missouri; Jennie Lee Plaggemeyer of Warsaw, Missouri; Lou Ann O'Neal and husband Bob of Carrollton, Missouri; Deborah Sue McElwee and husband Frankie of Slater, Missouri; Renee Bozarth and husband Donnie of Dawn, Missouri; Rita Minnis of Haulsey, Oregon; and Nancy Carol Gardner of Houston, Texas. Seventy Eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Raymond Adams of Trenton, Missouri; and Dwane Adams and wife Betty of Polo, Missouri; one sister, Patricia Trippit and husband Charles of Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sons, Millard Cooper, Scotty Minnis, James Earp, and John Franklin Cooper; four brothers, Bob, Russell, Maynard, and Don Adams, and one sister Lois Howell. Memorial services will be held on Monday November 5, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lindley Funeral Home Hale, Missouri. There will be no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Lindley Funeral Home Hale, Missouri. Burial will be held at Enon Cemetery Dawn, Missouri.
