Kathleen "Kathy" (Doherty) Christie Kathleen "Kathy" (Doherty) Christie, age 70, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Kathy was born the daughter of Robert J. and Vera B. (Kretzmeier) on November 13, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended Holy Cross Grade School. She then was a 1961 graduate of Glennon High School, Kansas City, Missouri. Kathy worked as a marketing representative for Levitz Furniture for many years. Survivors include three brothers, Dick Doherty of Osage Beach, Missouri, David Doherty and wife Gabby of Overland Park, Kansas, and Daniel "Danny" Doherty and wife Vivien of London, England; two sisters, Barbara Powell of Kansas City, Missouri, and Suzanne Gall of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Holy Cross Church, Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Holy Cross Church, Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Cross Church, 5106 St. John, Kansas City, Missouri 64123, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Olivett Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
