Kathleen Hoyt Kathleen Hoyt, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Indian Hills, Chillicothe Missouri. Kathleen was born the daughter of Bernard and Winifred (Wilson) Hill on November 7, 1921, in Osborne, Kansas. She was a 1938 graduate of Hiawatha High School, Hiawatha, Kansas. She then attended Chillicothe Business College graduating in 1940. She was united in marriage to Roger K. Hoyt on December 10, 1943, in San Marcus, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1988. Kathleen was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was also a member of the Jr. Sorosis and Bridge Club. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Kathleen loved spending time with her family. Survivors include three daughters, Connie Willard and husband Larry of Chillicothe, Missouri, Christine Otoupalik and husband Bob of Santa Ana, California, and Anne Benjamin and husband Dave of Bradenton, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jeff Willard and wife Martha of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Lori Madsen and husband Russ of Chillicothe, Missouri, Adam Willard and wife Kelly of Stanberry, Missouri, Brad Otoupalik and wife Nicole of Santa Ana, California, Abbie Stallard and husband C.J. of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Matthew Rockers of Bradenton, Florida, and Baylee Rockers of Bradenton, Florida; eight great grandchildren, Olivia Willard, Eden Willard, Charlie Willard, Christian Otoupalik, Kaedan Rockers, Sam Willard, Adeline Willard, and Colson Stallard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; one sister, Betty Blain. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 18, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Avalon Cemetery, Avalon, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Festival of Lights and/or Avalon Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
