Katherine Elizabeth Rinehart Katherine Elizabeth Rinehart, age 83, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on December 17, 2011, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Missouri. Katherine was born the daughter of Andrew Frank and Edna Pearl (Hopper) O'Dell on October 26, 1928, in Braymer, Missouri. She was a 1946 graduate of Braymer High School. She was united to Nelson L. Rinehart on December 14, 1946, in Braymer, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2011. Katherine worked as a clerk at Mayne's Hardware and Dynamite for 35 years. She was a member of the Braymer Baptist Church, where she was very active in church activities. She loved bowling, and bowled with the same team for 40 years. Katherine loved her community and friends. Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Gorham and husband Omar of Braymer, Missouri, Carolyn Mann of Breckenridge, Missouri, and Virginia Shear and husband Larry of Kearney, Missouri; three sister-in-laws, Gladys Dean of Cameron, Missouri, Ethel Beck of Holden, Missouri, Katherine Hart of Platte City, Missouri; two brother-on-laws, Melvin Rinehart of Cameron, Missouri, Ivin Rinehart of Independence, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Nelson; one brother, Wayne O' Dell; four sisters, Alberta Price, Juanita Smith, Gladys Barnhill, and Helen Hill. A Memorial Service will be held at the Braymer Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Braymer Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
