Karen Sue McCollum Karen Sue McCollum, age 55, a resident of Tina, Missouri, passed away in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 11, 2015. Karen was born on June 29, 1960, the daughter of Nelson Dee and Lorene Mae (Johnson) Garber. Karen was united in marriage to Perry McCollum on December 31, 2003, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Karen worked as a care giver for Betterway in Chillicothe. She was a member of the Oakland Christian Church and she attended the Cowboy Church. Karen was a member of the Eagles where she enjoyed dancing to country western music. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, playing music and she was very involved with her grandchildren. Survivors include: son, Brian Singer and wife Annie of Chillicothe; son, Chris Singer and wife Kelly of Bosworth and their children Abby Muff and husband Jake, Kelsey Singer, Jaxson Stanley, Kiley and Klayton Singer; son, Jerry Singer and wife Ashley of Tina and their children, Tucker, Tanner, Tyler and Tymber Singer; and son Brandon Singer and wife Katie of Tina and their child, Hadley Singer; one sister, Kathy Tutt and husband Bob of Hale and their son Nathan Tutt and wife Phebe their children Aria and Benjamin, and daughter Amy Carpenter and her children Cami and Elijah. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Kimberly and Kaley Singer. Funeral Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. A Scheduled family visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a dinner for family and friends after services at the Tina Community Hall. Burial will be at the Blue Mound Cemetery in Dawn, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Karen Sue McCollum Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
