Julia Marie Critten

Julia Marie (Tharp) Critten Julia Marie Critten, age 91, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri. Marie was born the daughter of Julius and Henrietta (Mylar) Salisbury on April 26, 1921, in Kidder, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Elmer Tharp in Morristown, Tennessee on October 14, 1957. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wells of Joy Church, Hamilton, Missouri. Survivors include one daughter, Diana Logston and husband Larry of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Christina Claypool and Matthew Logston; one great grandson Devin Claypool; and one sister, Margie Fern Tredo of Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer Tharp; one son, Dennis Grant; two brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Monday, March 11, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
