Juanita F. Moss, age 90, a resident of Gilmer, Texas, formally of Braymer and Richmond, Missouri, passed away at Gilmer Care Center on Saturday, May 29, 2010. She was born the daughter of Grover Raymond and Ethel (Lingard) Smith, on April 3, 1920, in Mooresville, Missouri. She graduated from Braymer High School in 1938. On March 20, 1944, she married Verl Moss in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, David Moss, of Winnsboro, Texas; two granddaughters, Kacie Raye (Moss) Gilliam and Shannon Lee Moss, two great-grandchildren Lexie and Ayden Gilliam, and another great-grandchild expected later this year. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Bonnie Mae Moss and Helen Louise Hobbs. Services will be held at the Braymer Christian Church on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Braymer Christian Church. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
