Juanita Maxine Ellis, age 90, a resident of Reeds Spring, Missouri, formerly of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at her daughter's home.
Juanita was born the daughter of Thomas Francis (T.F.) and Doris (Butterfield) Osborn on, May 21, 1931, in Rowley, Iowa. She was a 1949 graduate of Rowley High School.  On December 24, 1949, in Spencers Grove, Iowa, Juanita was united in marriage to Maxwell Hall Ellis.  He preceded her in death.  Juanita worked as a secretary at the University of Missouri Kansas City, Gulf Oil Company and for the Mayor of St Joseph, Missouri.  She sold Watkins products for several years and enjoyed baking, reading and singing.  Everyone loved her cinnamon rolls and she loved baking bread for family and friends. Juanita was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in Breckenridge, Missouri.
Survivors include: three daughters, Martha Garlock of Hamilton, Missouri, Nola Meyer and husband Don of Friendswood, Texas, and Judith Geiger and husband Skip of Reeds Springs, Missouri;  five Grandchildren, Jeremiah Garlock (Lauri), David Garlock, Rachel Garlock Gwen Geiger-Wolfe (Erin), and Sylvia Nikes.  Juanita is also survived by eight great grandchildren; one brother, Lee Osborn (Donna); one sister, Phyllis Randal and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Maxwell Ellis, infant son, David Hall Ellis, and daughter, Barbara Baker.
Private family graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.  Friends may call at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Sunday February 6, 2022, from Noon until 5:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Phoenix Hospice of Springfield, Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
