Juanita Faye Brown Juanita Brown, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe. Juanita was born the daughter of William and Lula (Collier) Williams on September 5, 1922 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Charles "Bill" Brown on April 21, 1942 in McMinnville, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2011. Juanita was a member of the Chillicothe VFW Roy L. Burkett Post 858, and the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved traveling, spending time with her family, fishing, and humming birds. She enjoyed playing card games, such as canasta. Juanita also enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles. Survivors include one son, Charles R. Brown, and wife Marilyn, of Ozark, Missouri; three daughters, Linda Harkins, and husband Sherman, of Hale, Missouri, Lana McNew, and husband Roy, of Flemington, Missouri, Lorna Kester, and husband Don, of Richmond, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles "Bill" Brown; two brothers, Virgil, and Roy; and five sisters, Opal Randall, Eileen Harris, Mary Darr, Elaine Sykes, and Deloris Freeman. Services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on October 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
